Celebrating the Inspirational YoungStars Awards

Friday 5th July hosted Cambridge’s most notable Awards ceremonies for young people, the Inspirational YoungStars Awards. 

Launched in 2022, by Ian Dahler, Cambridge United Football Club’s Stadium Manager, the awards recognise youngsters between the ages of 7 and 16 doing exceptional things in Cambridge and the local community. 

COEL were delighted to sponsor the Inspirational YoungStars Awards again this year, hosted at Cambridge United Football Club in association with the Cambridge Independent and Cambridge Charity Fundraisers. 

The Cambridge United Signature Suite was a packed room with the Right Honourable Lord Lieutenant Julie Spence OBE, QPM,BEd, LLB, MA, MBA. OBE, in attendance – there was barely a dry eye as some of the heart-rending winner’s stories were read out. 

Lizzie Bradbury, Community and Engagement Manager at COEL, awarded the Environmental Award to Nico; a young man who has consistently looked to initiate green schemes and community endeavours which benefit our eco-system. 

The Inspirational Awards is an exceptional awards ceremony with some incredible young people being celebrated for their personal endeavors and their contributions to charity and community initiatives. Here at COEL our passion is to invest in the future of our society and support great initiatives like this that directly impact our local community’
