COEL sponsors Science and Technology Awards 2025

Will you be this year’s ‘Employer of the Year’?

COEL is delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards. We will once again be championing the ‘Employer of the Year’ category, which celebrates businesses’ commitment to their teams, to corporate social responsibility and to the green agenda.

The 2025 Science and Technology Awards will take place on Thursday 15th May at Hinxton Hall Conference Centre, at the Wellcome Genome Campus. A celebration of science and technology sectors in the Cambridge region, the awards are now in their eighth year and have developed a reputation for highlighting exceptional achievements and talent across the sector.

With fifteen categories, ranging from ‘Start-up of the Year’ to ‘Life Science Company of the Year’, through to Medtech, Cleantech, Biotech, Software and AI company of the year, the awards provide companies in Cambridgeshire with an opportunity to showcase their exceptional talent and achievements.

The deadline for applications to the Awards including the ‘Employer of the Year’ is 31st January 2025, and you can apply here.

COEL’s CEO, Alistair Rumbelow is proud to be supporting this year’s awards…

“We have been fortunate to work alongside so many ambitious and brilliant companies in the science and tech space, supporting them with their office and lab expansions and workspace adaptations.

During that time, we have been encouraged to see an increased focus on workplace strategy and employee wellbeing, as well as a growing commitment to sustainability to attract and retain new staff – so the ‘Employer of the Year’ award felt like a perfect fit for us! This award provides businesses with the opportunity to demonstrate what makes their organisation an attractive place to work, both aesthetically and in terms of ESG (Environmental Social Governance), and impact within the local community.

We are thrilled to support the thriving Science and Tech community in Cambridge and wish all those that submit an entry the very best of luck.”
