Allia was keen that the innovation lab should provide a bright, welcoming and fun environment which would encourage use of the space and promote creativity.
Based on the client brief, the innovation lab was designed in zones to accommodate the desired working styles and applications. The key areas were defined visually through furniture specification, feature flooring, glazed screening and decor – all in line with Allia’s corporate branding.
A particular challenge for the designers was the lack of natural light within the lab areas. This was addressed through the use of specific lighting products suitable for such environments, together with light, bright colour schemes and furnishings.
