Our Team
Apprentice Electrician
Reece is our apprentice electrician, dedicated to maintaining and overseeing the electrics in offices that COEL has built or taken on. From emergency lighting to tracking replacements and repairs, he ensures that every space operates safely and efficiently.
My journey in the trade started at 16 as an apprentice electrician, working in domestic environments before joining COEL at 19—and I haven’t looked back since.
Holding an 18th Edition certification, I have worked on projects at 2500 Cambridge Science Park, and Trinity Centre and now work in the maintenance team supporting clients across Cambridgeshire and wider region. One of my most memorable achievements was handling the full electrical installation for Hip Café in Harlow, my first major project, where I enjoyed the challenge of figuring out every detail, from cable tray installations to system setups.
Outside of work, I bring the same enthusiasm to my hobbies as I do to my profession. Whether it’s playing football, diving into Xbox, or enjoying darts with friends, I make the most of my time. As a short, fun, and happy person, I believe in bringing positivity to every space I step into.
Reece is part of our maintenance team, primarily working on our building maintenance contracts (PPM’s) and reactive maintenance contracts across Cambridge.
With a focus on electrical safety within office building management, Reece supports our electrical engineers in conducting commercial monthly emergency light testing, distribution board checks, Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Portable (PAT) and Fixed Appliance Testing.
