Electrical Manager
He’s all electric, meet the brilliant Luke McManus. Luke joined our commercial buildings maintenance team back in 2024, electrifying us with his personality.
I work within the commercial maintenance & PPM division here at COEL, specifically managing the Electrical team in Cambridge. With over 20 years’ experience working within the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors, I have had many roles throughout my career. From working as an Approved Electrician, to being a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor overseeing the electrical testing and certification for company accreditation, through to an Electrical Manager in charge of managing a team of electricians.
I’m extremely organised and love using my task manager to get that great feeling of completing jobs, ensuring projects are completed to a good standard and completed in an efficient time scale. I’m a very positive person & enjoy having a laugh with everyone in the office.
Who doesn’t love Ghostbusters? I’m a huge fan of horror movies and Heavy Metal too. Outside of work I also love spending time with my wife and two boys.
Luke’s role involves conducting surveys at electrical jobs, quoting for the electrical works required, as well as booking in remedial works for our electrical staff, overseeing all electrical testing and certification. Luke holds BS 2394 Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations & BS 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
