Our Team
Head of Maintenance
Kirsty is our Head of Maintenance, and oversees all maintenance operations, managing staff and fostering a culture built on exceptional customer service. As someone who hates the cold, you will almost always find her wrapped up in a coat.
I have been with COEL for seven years, growing within the company to now lead its Maintenance Department. Approachable, organised, and meticulous, I take pride in delivering efficiency and reliability across all maintenance operations.
I love that my job is so varied in the Maintenance team and that I’m able to fulfil our commercial customers’ needs; no matter how big or small the project or pre-planned maintenance (PPM) contract is. My aim is to always have great communication with our clients and to be as helpful as possible.
My qualifications include a Degree in Interior Design, an IWFM Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management, and an IOSH Managing Safely certification.
Beyond work, I play hockey for a team in Cambridge, enjoy travelling to new places, and love a good hike—despite my famously slow pace. I also appreciate a well-earned nap.
Kirsty heads up a large team of mechanical and electrical engineers alongside multi-skilled tradesmen who work on our small works projects.
Working closely with the COEL team and clients, Kirsty develops PPM (pre-planned maintenance) schedules to ensure all equipment and facilities are serviced regularly, adhering to current regulations. Whether a client is taking on a building maintenance contract or needs some reactive maintenance support for their commercial building, Kirsty and her team are on hand to help.
