Head of Finance
Introducing our financial front-runner, Georgina Mason. Georgina joined COEL in 2023 to manage the Finance department and oversee the financial operations of the company.
I have over 25 years of diverse experience in finance across a range of industries including education and pharmaceuticals. I’ve held roles such as Finance Manager, Finance Bursar, and Financial Controller, focusing on budgeting, statutory compliance, and financial systems. My expertise spans management accounting, financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and internal controls.
At COEL, I manage the Finance department and oversee the financial operations of the company. I ensure timely financial reporting, manage the cash flow, process the monthly payroll and expenses and lead the annual audit.
Outside of work I can usually be found walking with my crazy cockapoo, Freddie. I also run my local weekly parkrun and 10k races. When it’s time to chill, I enjoy going away on holiday with family and friends.
Georgina is a dedicated finance professional, a resourceful and tenacious financial and management accountant. She’s a decisive team leader with a positive management approach. Georgina really values attention to detail, has an analytical mindset and actively looks for solutions to solve problems.
Georgina is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT).
