Office Manager
Introducing our extremely helpful Office Manager, Diane who has been with COEL since 2011. Diane is often the person our visitors will be greeted by when they visit our premises.
As the Office Manager at COEL, I ensure the smooth running of daily operations while embracing the challenge of managing our fleet of vans once again. With a strong work ethic and an “old school” approach, I take pride in being approachable and always willing to help.
My career has largely been rooted in office environments since leaving school, though I took a detour into the world of hospitality as a landlady for a couple of years. One of my most fascinating roles was serving as a Football Manager’s Secretary at Cambridge United—a truly memorable experience that added an exciting dimension to my professional journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy sunshine holidays, short getaway trips, dining out, dancing, countryside walks, and, most importantly, spending time with my grandchildren.
Diane is a key team member at COEL, managing our office to ensure we remain legally compliant whilst always being available to support wellbeing in the workplace. Leading on office health and safety, through to vehicle management for our on-site construction and maintenance team, Diane is also a key social event organiser, and brings us all together for the Christmas party and punting over the summer.
