Our Projects
Bidwells is a leading real estate adviser specialising in the UK’s most pioneering sectors: science & technology, sustainability, and residential living. After completing the fit out of their Cambridge office, we worked with Bidwells Norwich, to design their new regional office, based on the River Wensum, that would better enable flexibility for their teams with their hybrid working, and provide a high-end experience for clients.
Promoting a versatile, collaborative, and dynamic way of working was central to this agile office fit out. With a workforce empowered to choose how and where they work best, the layout introduced a variety of zones—from hot desks for quick ‘touch downs’ to enclosed booths and pods for private conversations. This flexible environment supports productivity, autonomy, and meaningful connection throughout the workspace.
From the moment you step into the new workspace, you’re greeted by a stylish reception area featuring a statement light fixture and comfortable seating—setting a warm, professional tone for visitors. Meeting rooms are conveniently located next to the entrance, and thoughtfully themed with visual nods to Norfolk’s iconic landmarks, celebrating the region’s unique character. A spacious boardroom with folding walls offers complete flexibility, easily adapting to host strategic meetings or smaller, focused sessions as needed.
Bidwells’ brand values—Captivate Clients, Disrupt the Status Quo, Connect to Innovate, and Passion Powers Performance—were thoughtfully woven into the design of their workspace. These principles guided the visual and spatial choices, from framed brand visuals throughout the office to a branded welcome screen in reception. The result is a cohesive environment that reflects their identity and reinforces their values at every touchpoint.
Sustainability was a core principle in the design approach, with reuse prioritised throughout the fit out. Bidwell’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives were thoughtfully considered and integrated into the planning process. All furniture from the previous office was repurposed for the new workspace, minimising waste and reducing environmental impact. Only a few additional elements—such as phone booths and meeting pods—were added to enhance functionality. Existing booth furniture was creatively adapted into new semi-enclosed meeting areas, as well as integrated storage lockers for added practicality.
