Commercial Manager

We’re seeking a strategic and experienced Commercial Manager/Head of Commercial to lead our Commercial team and oversee all commercial functions. This role is pivotal in driving profitable and sustainable growth across our portfolio of office and laboratory fit-out projects.


  • Salary: £75k-£85k plus £6k car allowance

Position Full Details:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and Estimators.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior commercial role within the fit-out construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial risk.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced financial acumen and analytical ability.
  • Professional, pragmatic, and calm under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or Construction Management.
  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • RICS or CIOB membership.
