Heading up our commercial Furniture, Move and Storage division here at COEL, meet the meticulous, sports-mad Ash Hovells.
I left school with the plan to have a trade, perhaps a plumber or carpenter, and whilst looking for courses and apprenticeships I got a job in Cambridge working for a furniture and stationary company. I really enjoyed it, and then found myself at COEL within a few years and haven’t looked back since.
With over 30 years in the furniture and fit out industry, I now head up a team who are committed to delivering furniture and relocation solutions that fit precisely with our clients’ visions and goals. I particularly enjoy the transformation we deliver in taking an existing or open space and creating something totally new.
Family-man and life-long Man Utd fan. I’m pretty obsessed with sports in general and also love a bit of golf… oh, and dog walking!
Ash’s role is wholly centred around our clients, advising and supporting in arranging company moves and relocations through to recycling and investing in new office furniture. He ensures every recommendation, be it an office pod or meeting room tables and chairs, are suited to the client’s workspace needs. Ash’s strengths lie in strategic planning, operations and team leadership, ensuring each step in the furniture and move process is seamless and stress-free for our clients.
