Project Manager
Say hello to Nick Burton. Nick joined COEL after working as a construction Project Manager in London and now manages fit out projects across our region.
I’ve always worked in the construction trade, building up my expertise to become a Project Manager in the industry. I then set up my own construction company in London, specialising in high-end residential refurbishments.
Having recently moved back to Cambridge after living in London for 20 years, I’m looking forward to exploring the Cambridgeshire countryside – I love the outdoors and travelling around the country. It’s handy having a love of travel as a Project Manager, although Italy is where I love to travel the most!
Family man and fan of the beautiful game. I manage an U8s football team and still love playing myself. I also enjoy cooking, running and playing the piano.
Nick oversees our office and lab fit out projects from pre-construction and site set up right through to project handover. Nick’s key responsibility is to ensure that fit out projects are completed on time and to budget. He manages the project delivery team, communicating with clients and stakeholders about key milestones and progress. In addition, Nick’s role ensures compliance with project level health and safety, identifying and mitigating risks associated with the project.
